What brands of intermediate flutes are the best?
Im ordering a few to play and try out. I'm upgrading to a nicer intermediate flute that I will be able to play throughout college. I'm looking in the 2000 range.Any suggestions on brands?
Looking for a new, intermediate flute piece?
I just finished Bach's Badinerie in B minor. I can play it slightly slower than the normal speed reasonably well. I am looking for something with similar difficulty as the Bach for my school's college concert band tryout. I am not trying to impress but to display my level of technique. This is my first time so I don't know what the band director expects.Any suggestion? P.S. I can't play the Bach again because he heard it at the end of last semester in the required jury for my flute study.P.S.S. Any extra tips on handling stage fright? I am really bad at performing to anyone other than myself and maybe for my teacher.

Best intermediate flute?
I've used a student model Gemeinhardt 3 for the past nine years, but it's time to retire it and get a new flute. I play quite frequently, and so I'm interested in getting an intermediate flute.I've been reading great things about Yamaha as an intermediate brand, but every Yamaha flute I've ever played was junk in comparison to my Gemeinhardt so I'm a little wary of it. I was looking into the Gemeinhardt 3sb, has anyone had experience with those? I also read that Gemeinhardt has great student flutes, but not so great intermediate.. Quality matters to me more than price, but I would prefer not to spend more than $2000.Any suggestions?
GOOD INTERMEDIATE FLUTES.?
I'm looking for good intermediate flutes under the cost of $1200. I was hoping if anyone had any advice or recommendations for good intermediate flutes.I've heard that the Azumi flute was really good but the thing is that the body is made in Taiwan... and my parents prefer flutes that are made in Japan so I'm having a bit of trouble. Please help me? SP.S. It needs to be have... 1. open hole 2. offset G. Thanksss.
Buying an Intermediate flute.?
I am going to be a freshman in High School next year and hope to buy a more advanced flute soon. I am very advanced for my age, being 4th chair out of 7 flutes in the Top Band at my High School. I am going to keep with flute all through high school and through college. The flute I use now, I got for christmas 2 years ago. My mom ordered it without me knowing and so when it arrived, it was closed holed instead of open holed. Beside it not being open holed it has exceptional quality and tone. But, I don't really feel like i have a advanced enough flute, being the only one at my school with a closed holed flute. I know I can play an open hole one perfectly fine. I want at least an intermediate flute to use at concerts during high school. I plan to use my current one for marching I am looking at Pearl flutes but none of the sites have prices. But idk.... What Brands, features, etc... should I look for to get an intermediate advanced flute?P.S. Are gold lip plates okay???
